Developed by Robert McNeel & Associates in 1980, it is CAD/CAM software in which the geometry is based on the mathematical model - NURBS. This software finds applications in 3D Printing and Rapid Prototyping along with reverse engineering. It is used by Architectures, automotive designers, product designers, Jewelry designers. It is also being used in the Graphic design and multimedia industry.
