Importance of Education - The Value brings by a Good Education

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

- Nelson Mandela.

Everyone needs access to quality education if they are to lead fulfilling lives. There are several ways to get an education, including classroom instruction, formal training, and research. People who have completed their education can find success in a variety of fields.

Acquiring knowledge about oneself and the world around is what we mean when we talk about education. A school-based education is known as a formal education. There are numerous more locations where people can learn, such as from their family, friends, and travels. Being educated has many positive effects on a person's life. These are a few examples:
  • Education provides stability and financial security: Education helps people to find better career opportunities and earn higher incomes. It also teaches them how to manage their money and save for the future.
  • Education promotes equality and social justice: Education gives everyone an equal chance to access information, resources, and opportunities. It also fosters respect for diversity and human rights.
  • Education enhances personal growth and development: Education stimulates the brain and improves cognitive skills such as memory, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. It also helps people to discover their passions and talents.
  • Education contributes to global peace and development: Education raises awareness of local and global issues such as poverty, health, environment, and democracy. It also encourages people to take action and participate in civic life.

To sum up, a good education is among the most important things we can have. It helps us out individually, but it also gives us the tools to change the world for the better. Consequently, we should all encourage and facilitate the pursuit of education to the fullest extent feasible.

Space Debris - how deadly is it?

How fascinating is this image?

Do you know what is this?
.
.
.
These are the very small particles or debris of objects which floats in space at a staggering speed of a few hundred kilometer/s. And you know, they are so faster than they can even destroy the satellite or other objects which come in their path (even with a small size of 10 cm).

<head>
<!-- Google tag (gtag.js) --> <script async src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=AW-325136247"></script> <script> window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || []; function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);} gtag('js', new Date()); gtag('config', 'AW-325136247'); </script>

Space exploration led to the many advantages and development of technologies that are beneficial for humans. But the one thing which is a matter of concern is that it will also lead to the generation of waste in space. We, human beings, neither bother about the Earth's environment nor do we concerned about the space near the Earth's atmosphere or outside space.

And as space travel becomes a reality, with the entrance of private players like SpaceX, Blue Orange, and Virgin Galactic chances of more debris in space are higher.

There is a need to tackle this issue with great concern and utmost priority otherwise the boom we are getting with space exploration and satellites will become a bane in the near future.

Learn Rhino in a Fun Way

 Hello Everyone, welcome to my blog -  Learning Rhino in a Fun Way.

With this blog, I am going to teach you the concept of sketching, Modelling, and Drawing in a 3D CAD software - Rhino.

Developed by Robert McNeel & Associates in 1980, it is CAD/CAM software in which the geometry is based on the mathematical model - NURBS. This software finds applications in 3D Printing and Rapid Prototyping along with reverse engineering. It is used by Architectures, automotive designers, product designers, Jewelry designers. It is also being used in the Graphic design and multimedia industry.

Tokyo Olympics 2020 is over but what about Paris 2024??

My heartiest congratulations to every player who made it to the Olympics participated and gave his/her best at this stage.

Thanks to every player (#neerajchopra, #mirabaichanuwinsmedal, #ravikumardahiya, #Bajrangpunia, #pvsandhu, #hockeyindia, #lovelina, #) who contributed to 7 medal tally of India in Olympics (best ever by us).

Now started raining of cash rewards to these players by governments, departments, and industries. Good!! It is required.

But for a nation, which is at the verge of becoming the most populated nation on the planet, securing just 7 medals with a position of 48th in the medal tally, is it an achievement?

Where are we lagging? Why can't we do the introspection both at the administrative level and root level? #sportsminitry, #anuragthakur , #primeministerofindia and other state governments.

Why can't the other state governments and industries take responsibility for at least one sport like the one (Hockey) facilitated by the #Orissagovernment, #NaveenPatnaik? So that our sportsperson shall concentrate on improving techniques to excel in the sport, and not the worry of earning the livelihood. #sports #india #leadership #training #skills #coaching #stage #success

Kindly come forward and do something for Players, for Sports, and for the Nation. Do rigorous work right from today and not from the time when Olympics will be on the verge

Only 3 years are remaining to go for #ParisOlympics. All the best to every player who is aiming for 2024. #sport

CAREER IN SPORTS

As you all know, Tokyo 2020 Olympics is towards the final week. Like every Olympics, this time also we (India) are waiting for how many medals can we be able to grab.

Till now, only 2 Medal, 1 Silver (thanks to Chanu in Weight-lifting) and another by Sindhu (in Badminton). One in Boxing (69 kg category by Lovlina) will be decided on the 4th of August.

One more piece of good news is from the Hockey, in which both the Men and Women's teams have entered the semi-final of the event. History is waiting to be written, and I hope that it will be written.

So, let us come to the topic that is a career in sports. With the increase in the sports infrastructure and opportunities in various sports esp. Cricket, Hockey, Badminton, Wrestling, Kabbadi, Football, and Shooting; India is going to be a sports country.

Also, Indian and state governments are taking sports seriously and a few sports universities have been incorporated in various states of the nation. (National Sports University - Wikipedia)

If you have the passion, interest, or even play causally, but are not sure about what to do. Then just take my advice. TAKE SPORTS SERIOUSLY. If you play seriously, and do hard and focused training, then you can thrive to excel in the sporting event. You can make the NATION (MOTHER INDIA) proud.

JUST TAKE A FEW STEPS TOWARDS THIS CAREER.

CHALLENGES OF TEACHING: POST COVID-19 ERA

COVID has drastically changed the way of teaching. In order to contain the virus and to make our students safe, governments all over the world decided to close schools, colleges, and universities.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on education, necessitating a rapid shift to online learning and prompting educators to adapt their teaching methods. While online learning has offered flexibility and accessibility, it has also presented numerous challenges that continue to affect the teaching profession in the post-COVID-19 era. Here are some of the key challenges faced by teachers in the post-COVID-19 era:

  1. Bridging the Digital Divide: The transition to online learning has exposed the digital divide, where students from disadvantaged backgrounds may lack access to reliable internet connectivity and devices, hindering their participation and learning outcomes.

  2. Adapting to Online Teaching Methods: Many teachers have struggled to adapt their traditional teaching methods to the online environment, lacking the necessary training and experience in effective online pedagogy and digital tools.

  3. Engaging Students in Online Learning: Maintaining student engagement and motivation in an online setting can be challenging due to factors such as distractions, limited face-to-face interaction, and the potential for isolation.

  4. Supporting Diverse Learning Needs: Online learning can make it more difficult for teachers to cater to the diverse learning needs of students, such as those with disabilities or learning challenges.

  5. Assessing Student Learning Effectively: Evaluating student understanding and progress in an online environment can be challenging, requiring teachers to develop innovative assessment methods that go beyond traditional exams and quizzes.

  6. Managing Increased Workload: The shift to online learning has often led to an increased workload for teachers, who may spend more time preparing online materials, responding to emails, and providing additional support to students.

  7. Maintaining Work-Life Balance: The blurring of boundaries between work and personal life due to online teaching can lead to burnout and stress among teachers.

  8. Addressing Mental Health Concerns: The pandemic has exacerbated mental health issues among both students and teachers, requiring educators to be more sensitive to these concerns and provide appropriate support.

In addition to these challenges, teachers in the post-COVID-19 era also face the task of addressing the learning gaps and addressing the impact of the pandemic on student academic performance.

Overcoming these challenges requires a collaborative effort from teachers, administrators, policymakers, and parents to create a supportive and effective learning environment in the post-COVID-19 era. This includes providing teachers with adequate training and resources for online teaching, ensuring equitable access to technology and internet connectivity, developing innovative assessment methods, and addressing the mental health needs of both students and educators.

Biology or Mathematics - A puzzle for students opting Science after 10th

Well, I am inspired to write this post while I was replying to a comment on one of my earlier posts.

It's a general perception that if one wants to make a career in medical-related fields then it would be better to stay away from mathematics. The same rule applied to the students which want to make their career in engineering and allied areas.

But, with the advancement in technology and the focus of research shifted from core work to interdisciplinary research, it is needed for the hour that students must start thinking about the interdisciplinary areas.

<script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5422740946873574"
     crossorigin="anonymous"></script>
<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block; text-align:center;"
     data-ad-layout="in-article"
     data-ad-format="fluid"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-5422740946873574"
     data-ad-slot="1867723583"></ins>
<script>
     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>

Medical students have a new area known as computational biology in which the researchers must have the knowledge of mathematical concepts which must be adequate enough so that the complex biological problem could be solved with the help of mathematical tools or analysis.

On the other end, when we talk about interdisciplinary research in engineering-related fields and if we see in last 20 years there is plenty of work which has been done in the medical field whether using microbots or in biomechanics and brain Science research, etc.

<script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5422740946873574"
     crossorigin="anonymous"></script>
<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block; text-align:center;"
     data-ad-layout="in-article"
     data-ad-format="fluid"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-5422740946873574"
     data-ad-slot="1867723583"></ins>
<script>
     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>

So whether you want to make a career either in medical areas or engineering areas it will be better than you will take both biology and mathematics at your +2 standard. So that you do have the basic concepts to be able to work in the inter- or multi-disciplinary areas.
